Vol. 3 No. Especial I (2023): Debates sobre a educação no Brasil e na África lusófona: caminhos, avanços e perspectivas

The studies that led to the publication of this edition are the result of various approaches to qualitative, quantitative and mixed research, with methods that involve bibliographic research, field research and data analysis. There are many benefits to this Special Edition I. Many of these studies are enriched with robust historical data on the types of education (basic, secondary, technical and higher) – from colonial times to the present day. In addition to the historical data on education, much is also revealed about the language and culture of both African countries and Brazil. This is how this edition becomes an evaluative and critical reading of the evolution of education, culture, traditions, languages ​​and politics. This is how the publication of the texts that make up this special edition ultimately becomes a turn of speech, in the dialogue between scientific knowledge and African and Brazilian society.
