Abstract

<span;>My banzelo is a poem that results from the author's thoughts on the various aspects of nature (hence the title "my banzelo", an expression that commonly speakers of the Portuguese variant in Angola have applied to someone's thoughtful moments, this is due to the influence of Kimbundu about Portuguese).the poem has 131 verses grouped into 34 stanzas. It generally uses paired rhymes, free verse and, although it highlights the sound, it also preserves the message and ideas in the poem presented. The author uses poetry to express what he thinks about the skies, the sea, the wind and birdsong. In addition to presenting these elements that surround us and that have a great impact on our lives, he makes some considerations about how man should appreciate such elements. talks about the beauty of these faces with which nature presents itself, admits that these things did not arise by chance, but that there was someone who designed them. It also recognizes the irresponsibility of human beings in the often irrational use of the resources that nature provides them with. These thoughts arise at a time when his then Literature Theory teacher asks him and his colleagues to create a ten-page poem and a narrative text with the same number of pages. The author saw this as an opportunity to express what he thought and felt about nature and man's actions on it.
