The objective of this article is to analyze and understand the consequences of the educational policies of professional technical education for the province of Zambézia. The central issue arises insofar as nowadays in Mozambique one can see the evolution of general secondary education, unlike technical education, as well as the social and ideological repercussions of this education. This It seems to us that the government's education policy is centered on teaching citizens to read and write and not on how to do it. In the province, despite the investments and priority allocation by the government, there is little demand for technical education. The question is to know What are the political strategies of the national and provincial government regarding the education of professional technical education in the province of Zambézia? The interest of the theme becomes relevant since the professional Technical education in the Province of Zambézia could contribute more to Local Development. This fact led us to recognize that policies in relation to technical education are designed at the national level, and the provincial directorates receive the plans and enforce them, but do not make efforts to adapt the plans to the reality of the province.
