é um escritor e poeta moçambicano.Estudou linguística na Universidade Eduardo Mondlane. Foi um dos fundadores da revista Charrua, em 1984 e secretário-geral da Associação dos Escritores Moçambicanos. Sua poesia é plácida e romântica, apresentando a mulher amada como refúgio. Também se inspira nas fontes da tradição oral moçambicana. O escritor Bucuane foi convidado para uma palestra virtual, na Revista Njinga & Sepé, uma revista científica da Universidade de Integração Internacional da Lusofonia Afro-Brasileira. Esta comunicação resulta desse encontro com estudantes e docentes daquela universidade.

is a Mozambican writer and poet. He studied linguistics at Eduardo Mondlane University. He was one of the founders of the Charrua magazine in 1984 and general secretary of the Mozambican Writers Association. His poetry is placid and romantic, presenting the woman he loves as a refuge. He is also inspired by the sources of Mozambican oral tradition. The writer Bucuane was invited to a virtual lecture, in Revista Njinga & Sepé, a scientific magazine of the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusofonia. This communication is the result of this meeting with students and professors from that university.
