Kubutisa maka: Oyu, mwimbu wa henda wene nga bangele ni wanji wami mu utuminu wa Ndongo . O mwimbu yu u jimbulula itangana ya kale anganji jiputu mu ixi yetu, mwene twa kexile mu kala ngo “etu mu dyetu”. Aba ima ya kifwa kya akulu-a-ndamba anga ya tatama-ku. Kiki, etu twala anji ni kazola ketu, ni henda ya xinana mu itangana yoso mwene.

Resumo: Este é um poema de amor que na minha imaginação ocorreu no reino do Ndongo. Trata-se de tempos remotos, antes da chegada dos portugueses. Tempos quando éramos só nós entre nós, sem interferências europeias. Entretanto, as referências culturais de então ainda prevalecem entre nós, tal qual o amor que é intemporal.
