Our objective with this work is to analyze Angolan educational practices in the pre-colonial period, based on an approach of resignification and decolonial interpretation of historical facts. This research has a qualitative focus, aiming to understand the anthropological, historical, and cultural aspects of the Bantu peoples of Angola. To this end, we used the historical method through the collection of bibliographic sources that reported on educational practices in pre-colonial Angola, as well as the descriptive method through the case study technique to analyze the educational practices of the Bantu peoples of Angola. Through this work, we were able to perceive a systematization in the education of pre-colonial Angolan peoples, as it followed stages or levels that respected individual differences from childhood to adulthood. Therefore, it is important to look at the education of pre-colonial Bantu peoples with concepts that convey meanings that elevate them, rather than diminish them, as the West and the so-called "black-white" intellectuals have always tried to do by seeing themselves as superior.
