Public transport plays a vital role in people’s mobility within a territory, serving purposes such as work, healthcare, education, or leisure. This article, titled “Analysis of the Quality of Public Transport Service in the Main Town of Cabinda Municipality,” aimed to assess the quality of public transport services in the municipality’s main town. The study focused specifically on the issue of urban collective transport by buses. A deductive and statistical method was adopted, and data collection techniques included semi-structured questionnaires and interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that 79% of passengers rated accessibility as very poor due to difficulty in accessing bus stops; 86% rated service frequency as very poor due to the long wait between buses; 70% rated travel time as average. Regarding the information system, 92% classified it as very poor due to the absence of route, operator, and schedule information at bus stops. As for stop features, around 95% considered them very poor due to the lack of proper signage, seating, and shelters. Reliability was rated very poor by 86.9% due to the lack of information about bus circulation times. Finally, passenger load was rated as average, as passengers could travel more comfortably outside peak hours. Overall, the quality of urban public bus transport in Cabinda’s main town is considered poor.
