Envolvimento dos Pais e Encarregados da Educação na melhoria do Processo de Ensino e Aprendizagem de Leitura dos Alunos da 3ª classe na Escola Primária completa do Vaz - Moçambique (2021-2022)

This article aims to analyze the involvement of parents and guardians in improving the teaching and learning process of reading for 3rd grade students at EPC do Vaz-Beira. The problem with this research is the weak involvement of parents and guardians at school. To materialize this research, it was based on the following methodologies: descriptive qualitative research, the bibliographic method, the inductive method, using observation and interview techniques. This research has a population of 3380, with 780 students. 2600 parents in charge of education; with a sample of 90: 45 students and 45 parents in charge of education. The main results of this investigation reveal that the causes of weak involvement of parents and guardians have been the lack of time due to occupations in the service, some parents do not have reading skills and some have a tutor who replaces their role, because of this, the level of involvement of parents and guardians is so low. The role of parents and guardians has been to help teachers understand their students' learning problems in accordance with the statements of parents and guardians.Downloads
