Abstract

The article describes the representation of Amílcar Cabral's thought as a factor of influence for the resistance against colonism and as a means of raising awareness for a claim to the independence of Guinea and Cape Verde, so the article aims to synthesize the poetic dimensions, lyrical and combative by Amical Cabral. For the accomplishment of this work, the bibliographical research will be our privileged methodology. We will also do an analytical reading of the poems published by the author. Finally, the influence of Amílcar Cabral's thought culminated in the recognition of Guinea-Bissau's independence by the Portuguese State
